ABOUT NORTH-WEST SPEECH PATHOLOGY

North-West Speech Pathology is located at Suite 7, 9 Seven Hills Road, Baulkham Hills, NSW, near the intersection with Windsor Road. Onsite parking is available.

We offer Saturday and mid-week appointments, with rebates for Speech Pathology services claimable from private health insurance funds. Some clients may also be eligible to claim rebates from Medicare.

 

THE NORTH-WEST SPEECH PATHOLOGY TEAM

North-West Speech Pathology employs a team of Speech Pathologists experienced in providing assessment and treatment services for children and adults. All are qualified, practising members of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia who regularly update their skills and knowledge to remain abreast of clinical developments.

The North-West Speech Pathology team includes:

Kylie Lee (B.Sp. Thy, MSPAA, CPSP)
Principal Speech Pathologist

  • Bachelor of Speech Therapy (1991)
  • Practising Member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPAA)
  • Participant in SPAA Professional Self-Regulation Program

Kylie has worked in a range of educational, community health and nursing home settings, both as a Speech Pathologist and a manager. She is experienced in providing assessment, treatment and education for individuals and groups.

Kylie has experience working with children and adults in city and country locations in New South Wales and Queensland.

 

Abigail Cohen (MSLP, MSPAA)

  • Master of Speech and Language Pathology (2007)
  • Teaching degree (1992)
  • Bachelor of Linguistics (1986)
  • Practising Member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPAA)
  • Participant in SPAA Professional Self-Regulation Program

Abigail has experience working with children with special needs, preschool-age and school-age children. She has professional and vast life experience working with children from multicultural backgrounds. Abigail is also fluent in Spanish, and understands some Mandarin.

 

Julia Good (B. App. Sc., MSPAA)

  • Bachelor of Applied Science – Speech Pathology (2008)
  • Practising Member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPAA)
  • Participant in SPAA Professional Self-Regulation Program

Julia has experience working with children who have autism and other developmental delays, individually and in multidisciplinary teams. Her other interests include assessment and therapy with preschool and school-aged children both in the clinic, and in school settings.

 

Derya Aydogan (B. App. Sc., MSPAA)

  • Bachelor of Applied Science – Speech Pathology (2009)
  • Practising Member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPAA)

Derya (Dee) has experience with working with pre-school and school-aged children, and adolescents with a range of communication difficulties. She has an interest in working within educational settings with teachers. Derya can understand and speak fluent Turkish.

 

Shelley Lambert (B. App. Sc., MSPAA, CPSP)

  • Practising Member of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPAA)
  • Participant in SPAA Professional Self-Regulation Program

Shelley has worked with children and adults in Australia and New Zealand. Based in hospitals, community health and school settings, she has worked extensively with individuals, teachers, parents and multidisciplinary teams.
